Krzysztof Błędowski is an economist with 15 years experience in economic analysis and consulting. His most recent interests and appointments centered on analyzing interest rate, exchange rate and other macroeconomic risks for fixed income and equity investors in central Europe. He set up research and served as board member/partner at Wood & Company, an equity broker-dealer with offices in central Europe. Prior to that he was chief economist at Pioneer Polish Trust Fund Co., Warsaw, the country's largest mutual fund. Other career interests included business cycle modelling and forecasting (Cahners Publishing, Newton, MA, US) and forensic economics (Commonwealth Research Group, Boston, US). Mr. Błędowski, born in Poland, received degrees in economics from universities in Poland, US, and UK.
