Laura Cousins is a free-lance academic.
She works at London Business School, is an affiliated lecturer of Cambridge University working at the Judge Institute of Management Studies, represents the London Business School at the Warsaw University of Technology Business School, and has works with Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chausées in Paris and Shanghai.
She is currently working with HSBC, and Heineken NV. Previously she was Assistant Professor of Marketing at to London Business School where she launched and directed the Strategic Marketing Programme.
She also has industrial experience, having worked in line marketing at RHM Foods
Laura's main research interests at present are in virtual working,and in corporate leadership and accountability.
She is particularly interested in the strategy process, and leadership, and the structuring of work in the virtual arena. She is also interested in the boundaries of corporate social responsibility.
Her previous work has been in the area of er doctoral research in marketing planning and the process of marketing management.
