Jean-Paul Larçon is Professor of Strategy and InternationalManagement at the HEC School of Management, Paris. He has been the Dean of CERAM (Sophia Antipolis, France) and the Dean of HEC (Paris, France) from 1982 to 1989. He is the Scientific Director of HEC Master of International Management. He co-founded the CEMS (Community of European Management School) in 1989; he participated in the development of Warsaw
University of Technology Business School since 1992 and of the Baltic Management Institute since 1997. He worked for companies, public agencies or international institutions in Europe, Middle East and Africa, Russia & Central Asia, and China. He published in strategy, corporate culture, and entrepreneursip in economies in transition. His current research interests are on corporate strategies in emerging economies and corporate transformation.
