Professor Daniel E.Michel, Master of Science and INSEAD MBA, is teaching Management Control and Accounting for HEC School of Management where he assumed the responsibility of the department and core MBA courses. He is a frequent teacher for MBA international programs with a focus for Eastern Countries and is a block co-ordinator for IMBA and EMBA programs of Management Control and Information Systems of the WUTS. Former flight engineer, production manager for Shell, Director of Finance of a joint venture between MATRA and TRW companies, he is currently running a consulting firm for major international companies for Management Control Systems projects and improvement. The key areas of research and consulting are reporting systems, companies valuation and value based management, balanced scorecard / tableaux de bord implementation, and project management frameworks. Former Mayor of the local town, Member of the local Chamber of Commerce, judge for commercial conflicts , and expert for the European Commission DG XII, he is involved in the government programs for improving the efficiency of public services.
